Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Camp Fernwood's program is intentional, allowing for friendships to form, independence and resilience to develop, and girls to fully immerse themselves in the complete camp experience.

We have hosted summer camps since 1997. Our 10 acre farm is a combination of forest, field, paddock, pasture, orchard, and gardens. Children enjoy the magical, rural setting, nestled on the edge of a vast forest between two bays. There is an intricate trail system from farm to lake and everything in between. One of the more popular trails reaches all the way to the beach. Art, nature, storytelling, gardening, whittling, yoga, games, and more all come together to teach stewardship of the land.

The Salish Sea School is a nonprofit marine education organization that connects people of all ages with the wildlife, waters, and ecosystems of the Salish Sea through hands-on learning and outdoor adventures. Through summer camps, family programs, field trips, wildlife excursions, and community events, we inspire curiosity, stewardship, and lasting connections to the natural world.

YMCA Camp Casey offers day camp and overnight camp experiences right here on Whidbey Island, helping youth build confidence, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
